Feyenoord
- Feyenoord seems strong, after the 0-3 victory over PSV for the Cup in midweek, but due to a draw 1-1 in Venlo the week before, the game will be irelevant for the standings.
- The Rotterdam side still sit fourth in the Eredivisie table and trail Ajax by four points.
- Feyenoord are in a run of 7 matches without a loss, and there is no doubt they will not give up easily in this derby.
- Head coach Mario Been will have to make do without the injured Kelvin Leerdam, Dani Fernandez and Luc Castaignos, but these are not key players
- He will probably start without De Guzman as his replacement Karim El Ahmadi proved to be tacitly a better option at the moment.
- Given the better odds, the better pick for this encounter is probably Feyenoord, but draw is also possible.
Ajax

- Th coach Martin Jol will be happy to see Luis Suarez return to the starting XI after the Uruguayan missed out on Ajax’s 3-2 cup win against NEC on Wednesday.
- In addition Marko Pantelic and Demy de Zeeuw, who both missed the win against AZ, are available again.
- Ajax has a doubts with Urby Emanuelson, Atouba is out for the game, but young midfielder Ejong Enoh is fit again will be back to the pitch.
